The Food and Drug Administration is against "fake" online medicine to tell consumers where is safe to buy medicine.The FDA  announced a new national campaign called “BeSafeRx" to raise realization of how dangerous to buy medicines from fake online pharmacies.BeSafeRx is designed to help patients learn how to avoid these risks that buy medicines from fake online shop and offer enough useful information tohelp them purchase medicines online safely. If anything fails,it'll also teach people something.

Michael Thaut is a music research director of Colorado State University. To see how music influent stroke victims' ability to walk smoothly, Michael took a 4-week test for 10 of them. He measured the timing of their strides with music and without music respectively. The test showed that the timing of strides improved with music.

Jeffrey Gundlach has been identified as the victim of  one of the largest home heists that ever took place in Santa Monica, Calif. On Sept. 14, 2012, the Santa Monica Police Department's officers answerd a call about a residential burglary in the 500 block of 12th Street  that happened sometime between Sept. 12 at 3 p.m. and Sept. 14 at  8 p.m. Police conservatively estimated the value of the stolen items at  $10 million. Gundlach has improved the reward from $100,000 to $200,000 for any tips that can help recover the stolen items.

Gundlach was abruptly terminated as a chief investment officer at TCW in 2009, accused of stealing trade secrets. TCW  and Gundlach eventually reached a settlement. Two years later,  Gundlach became  a  CEO of DoubleLine Capital in Los Angeles.

Owney is a postal dog who led a very big life.

After being abandoned by his owner, Owney went into a post office in 1888.He traveled all over the countryride with the bags on Railway Post Office and even ventured around the world as a emissary in 1895. OWney would get a medal each travel. The Postmaster General ordered a special vest to avoid those medals weighing down his neck. Owney was killed by the postmaster there because he was being mistreated during an interview and then he bit a reporter. Postal clerks all around the country chipped in money to commemorate Owney. He's now exhibited in the National Postal Museum's atrium.

A Musical Connection

Serhan Gungor whose passion is music is a tour guide in Turkey. Fatosh Dilek had just flown home to Turkey from California for university study. They met each other in an International chat room and were impressed by each other's knowledge of music. They found them had a lot in common, but Fatosh   rejected Serhan's invitation because using the Internet is such a dangerous way to meet people. After 3 more days of constant e-mailing, she accepted his invitation. They felt in love at first sight. A year later, they married in their own city of Istanbul and had a huge celebration with 450 guests. The Internet is really powerful sometimes.

Apple has sent out invitations, confirming a media event related to the next iPhone.This special event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco on Sept. 12. It's supposed that iPad mini will also be unveiled in the event. Lots of fans are waiting for iPhone 5 or other Apple products so that they are excited with this news.

The Bilingual Brain

Karl Kim and Joy Hirsch did a research in NewYork recently. This research is about adults and children who are learning a second language do not use the same parts of the brain. They used an instrument, fMRI, to study 2 groups of people----adults and children. One of the possible reasons is that children will  combine all the sounds and structures in the same brain area. Another possibility is that adults may acquire languages in the different way.
